We may have brainwashed ourselves into thinking that One Direction are the biggest boy band in the entire world (healthy), but they haven’t taken on the massive challenge of making it in America yet.
Speaking to The Metro the boys admitted that they’re not sure how tacking the US will go.
“We don’t really know what to expect,” said Louis Tomlinson.
“Obviously we haven’t done much promotion in the States so it’s going to be interesting to see where we stand.”
Whatever happens in the US, the boys are sure that they’ll be around for a long time (thank God, we’d be out of jobs otherwise).
While a lot of past X Factor contestants crash and burn after leaving the show, Zayn Malik reckons that if they can play it right, like JLS did, they’ll last a while.
“People who say X Factor contestants have no longevity, they actually do.
“If you do it right, then you know you can be pretty successful after The X Factor.”
Ahem, yeah we’d say they were “pretty successful.”
